When Wendy was leaving NYCB, she created an evening of duets with Alejandro Cerrudo, Joshua Beamish, Kyle Abraham and Brian Brooks. I had the pleasure of lighting all of the pieces on the Restless Creature (2013) program, as well as her subsequent evening-length duet collaboration with Brian Brooks and Brooklyn Rider Some of a Thousand Words (2016).
