Lighting Design Portfolio

 I lit both Restless Creature (2013), Wendy's breakout collaboration of duets, and her subsequent collaboration with Brian Brooks Some of a Thousand Words (2016) 

In NYC Cellular Songs (2018) took place in the mostly stripped-bare BAM Harvey. The lighting won me an actual sword as the prize of the Knight of Illumination Award.

Big Dance Theater is so much fun to design. This highly inventive group uses a no-holds-barred approach to theater making, and I love making these shows beautiful.

 My longest collaborator, Pavel Zuštiak, maintains that all elements throughout the work are of equal weight and voice. This fact forges deep intertwined collaborations and beautiful productions.  

 My earliest collaborator, I worked on many projects with John Jasperse Company between 2003-2010. In 2018, we worked together again on Hinterland at the Joyce Theater's NY Quadrille.
